Me encanto esta pelicula, estoy enamorada Helena Bonham, que bella es! la fuimos a ver en una sala VIP con butacas muy comodas pero me querian obligar a comer cotufas con vino y me negue! quien quiere ver una pelicula con cotufas y vino yo queria una seven up! ademas no tenian pirulin, en fin valio la pena depues de todo la peli es una belleza

Es una de mis peliculas preferidas y hoy, no se porque tan tarde, me di cuenta que es del mismo director de dos de mis peliculas favoritas ( Being John Malkovich y Adaptation )... entendi muchas cosas... esta mente hermosamente retorcida que siempre logra involucrarme en sus angustias existencialistas es Charlie Kaufman y les recoemiendo todo lo que lo involucre con mis manos al fuego, es una maravilla, quisiera ver alguina foto de el, pero no es tan facil, aun no la he encontrado.


... si ya se que les he hablado de esta pelicula miles de veces, pero en este caso no me importa ser repetitiva...

The Fountain

Una pelicula hermosisima, se que digo esto a menudo cuando les comento hacerca de una peli, pero esta vez es mas especial que nunca, una pelicula que lo tiene todo, ni un detalle me parecio malo, todo todo era maravillo. El director es Darren Aronofsky, el mismo de Requiem for a Dream (otra excelente pelicula, eso seguro ya lo sabian )

Es una historia de amor de las mas bellas del mundo, a mi me encantan las peliculas de amor, es que la verdad soy bastante cursi, me gusta sentir esa presion en el pecho... En fin veanla y si ya la vieron pues vuelvanla a ver, aqui les dejo el trailer, se las dejo de ultimo porque a mi me gusta ver las pelis sin vver el trailer, de hecho les recomiendo que ni lo vean.

The Elephant Man

Inconcientemente hoy vimos The Elephant Man, hace una hora era 5 de Agosto y Joshep Merrick nacio un 5 de Agosto 1980. Esta es una peliculade David Lynch, es en blanco y negro y es una historia real, bueno basada en la vida de un personaje real, es una belleza, totalmente conmovedora y cruel, lynch logra captar el contexto historico de una manera increible! debe ser por el blanco y negro, ademas de la oscuridad en los ambientes.


Aqui esta una autobigrafia:

“I first saw the light on the 5th of August, 1860, I was born in Lee Street, Wharf Street, Leicester. The deformity which I am now exhibiting was caused by my mother being frightened by an Elephant; my mother was going along the street when a procession of Animals were passing by, there was a terrible crush of people to see them, and unfortunately she was pushed under the Elephant's feet, which frightened her very much; this occurring during a time of pregnancy was the cause of my deformity.

The measurement around my head is 36 inches, there is a large substance of flesh at the back as large as a breakfast cup, the other part in a manner of speaking is like hills and valleys, all lumped together, while the face is such a sight that no one could describe it. The right hand is almost the size and shape of an Elephant's foreleg, measuring 12 inches round the wrist and 5 inches round one of the fingers; the other hand and arm is no larger than that of a girl ten years of age, although it is well proportioned. My feet and legs are covered with thick lumpy skin, also my body, like that of an Elephant, and almost the same colour, in fact, no one would believe until they saw it, that such a thing could exist.

It was not perceived much at birth, but began to develop itself when at the age of 5 years. I went to school like other children until I was about 11 or 12 years of age, when the greatest misfortune of my life occurred, namely - the death of my mother, peace to her, she was a good mother to me; after she died my father broke up his home and went to lodgings; unfortunately for me he married his landlady; henceforth I never had one moment's comfort, she having children of her own, and I not being so handsome as they, together with my deformity, she was the means of making my life a perfect misery; lame and deformed as I was, I ran, or rather walked away from home two or three times, but suppose father had some spark of parental feeling left, so he induced me to return home again.

The best friend I had in those days was my father's brother, Mr. Merrick, hair Dresser, Church Gate, Leicester. When about 13 years old, nothing would satisfy my step-mother until she got me out to work; I obtained employment at Messrs. Freeman's Cigar Manufacturers, and worked there about two years, but my right hand got too heavy for making cigars, so I had to leave them. I was sent about the town to see if I could procure work, but being lame and deformed no one would employ me; when I went home for my meals, my step-mother used to say I had not been to seek for work. I was taunted and sneered at so that I would not go home for my meals, and used to stay in the streets with an hungry belly rather than return for anything to eat, what few half-meals I did have, I was taunted with the remark -- "That's more than you have earned."

Being unable to get employment my father got me a pedlar's license to hawk the town, but being deformed, people would not come to the door to buy my wares. In consequence of my ill luck my life was again made a misery to me, so that I again ran away and went hawking on my own account, but my deformity had grown to such an extent, so that I could not move about the town without having a crowd of people gather around me.

I then went into the infirmary at Leicester, where I remained for two or three years, when I had to undergo an operation on my face, having three or four ounces of flesh cut away; so thought I, I'll get my living by being exhibited about the country. Knowing Mr. Sam Torr, Gladstone Vaults, Wharf Street, Leicester, went in for Novelties, I wrote to him, he came to see me, and soon arranged matters, recommending me to Mr. Ellis, Bee-hive Inn, Nottingham, from whom I received the greatest kindness and attention. In making my first appearance before the public, who have treated me well -- in fact I may say I am as comfortable now as I was uncomfortable before.

American Hardcore

Hoy vi el documental American Hardcore... y me encanto! una maravilla! quede totalmente emocionada con la pelicula, es de sony pictures, el domingo a las 3 de la tarde la proyectan en la ONG y ademas pueden comprar una copia por 6000bs y asi colaborar con la gente del libertario, tambien tendran otro material. No se porque, pero me reconforto muchisimo y ademas me dio un poco de alivio, jajajaj, en algunas dudas que rondaban mi cabeza y me atormentaban un poco, mirenla en muy bonita. Entrevistan a los fundadores del movimiento, a los que estaban en el peo como empezo y como murio, quien mejor que ellos para explicarnos.

Helmut Newton

Ya debo haber posteado mil veces a Helmut Newton y es que no me canso de el! asi que seguramente lo seguire posteando una y otra vez, hoy amaneci con humor de ver sus fotos y alguna pelicula de Lynch, asi que les dejare algunas imagenes y me ire a ver El Hombre Elefante, porque hoy no quiero trabajar solo leer y ver, ya me encargare del trabajo en la noche ( siempre prefiero trabajar de noche )

Hard Candy

Anoche vimos esta pelicula, es buenisima, un poco demente pero es muy bonita, los colores tienen un papel muy importante en esta pelicula estan muy bien pensados, no solo marcando una estetica si no mas bien como recurso del dicurso y de los personajes, no se como explicarlo bien, hay unas transiciones de cuadros y colores tan meticulosas en cada elemeten dentro de la composicion.

Bueno se los dejo hasta ahi, veanla es hermosa, el discurso es un poco loco, es una situacion muy gringa porque aqui en latino america casi que nos es normal, no digo mas, si la han visto me entendieron jaja y si no se las recomiendo (L)

House Of 1000 Corpses

Hoy volvi a ver esta pelicula dirigida por Rob Zombie y es una maravilla! realmente cada vcez que la veo me gusta mas.
Cuando terminamos de verla me dolia la barriga y todo jaja, aqui les dejo el trailer que si no la han visto NO VEAN.
La estetica, los colores, el vestuario, la edicion, la fotografia, la escenografia,la musica, TODO TODO muy bien, todo friamente calculado es una belleza

Esta es definitivamente una de las peliculas mas bellas del mundo, esta entre mis favoritas! la vi anoche y esta tarde de nuevo no me canso de verla se las recomiendo es super extrema, radical como mucha de las cosas asiaticas, ellos son asi. Creo que ya la ahbia posteado pero no importa la posteo otra vez, se lo merece ; )

Thirteen

Porque siempre a los trece hay una explición en nuestra vida, cuando vi esta pelicula hace unos años me quede impresionada porque yo tambien en cierta forma fui asi, no asi de insegura y atormentada, pero uno a los trece siente un cambio fuertemente, no se si a todo el mundo le paso, pero para mi amiga isabella y para mi era algo remotamente parecido, todavia es mi mejor amiga y una de las compañeras mas incondecionales en mi vida, aunque nuestros caminos no sean ya los mismos, ella esta en su tunel y yo en el mio pero siempre hay ventanas que nos conetan, la amo y esta pelicula es para ella.

PD: el trailer no es tan bueno ; )

La mala educacion

Hoy en la noche pasando los canales me encontre nuevamente con esta bellisima pelicula, a mi me encanta, lastima la agarre por la mitad, me di cuenta que no la tenemos en nuestra coleccion de dvds, una mas que agregar en la lsita de las olvidadas, que horror tantas peliculas que amas y se te olvida buscarlas.

Hoy fuimos a comprar peliculas y nos hemos comprado fantasia 2000 y me encanto! aqui les dejo uno de mis favoritos el de los flamingos

La semana pasada vi esta maravillosa pelicula y no se porque no se los habia comentado :o ! es realmente excelente, los colores son INCREIBLES! la exageracion de los momentos y personajes ni hablar! el grano que tiene toda la peli es una belleza, a mi me encanto! no se ni por donde empezar a contarles, solo les digo que tienen que verla! Se siente el espiruto del comic y el narrador es le da un toque mas aun!

Hostel

Hoy vi Hostel por segunda vez y me ha dado mas miedo que nunca! tuve que poner buscando a nemo para poder dormir!

Typography School

Este corto esta buenisimo! la fotografia es excelente y el contenido tambien y el tema es muy bonito jajaj en fin a mi me causa muhca emocion ver todas las maquinas relacionadas con composicion, tipografia y ni hablar de todo lo relacionado a las imprentas asi que esto me encanto aqui se los dejo ( me entere por el blog trabukoBLOG )

Bueno esta pelicula no se porque me encanto, es raro porque no es gran cosa, pero a mi me se me quedo grabada por alguna razon... creo que gracias a dos personajes jay y el perro aqui les dejo el trailer de la peli y un video de cada uno de mis personajes favoritos jejeje
